Back, Year 12, Gettin ma Postz on
So, I'm back in the reality of school/life/home/homework.. and ddonn'tt like it too much.
I recently went to Uganda, Tanzania, Turkey,Italy,France and England for two months and arrived back here in Melbourne about 2 weeks ago. The world has taught me alot mainly that I FREAKING love the world. There is no equivalent way to write about my passionate love for traveling. There were times here and there were they weren't the best experiences, all in all they filled a memory box never to be forgotten. I love being 'international'. Being lost in translation.
So as eminem starts his song 'back to reality' so will I. My song of 2011, apparently my whole life should be devoted to year 12, however I beg to differ. I have agreed to make this year one of the best. Mainly to fulfill my dreams/wishes. Some on ma Listz:
- Keeping up my freelance writing (posts)
- Gain a whole lotta confidence
- Look as sexy as Kim Kardasian or Beyonce
- Pass year 12 with good results
- Get a GOOD job that will hand me the dough
- Get my license hours up
- Learn how to rap
- Take interest in everyone, learn about people - there such amazing things hey?
- Save money
- Make some make-up tutorials
- Become more photogenic
- Ace my folios
That's about it for now, But I'm sure to add more.
So to conclude my speech of return I'd like to remind you that my blog is personal, all about me- yay. An outlet, online journal I kinda wanna share with anyone to read. Comment your thoughts, I love talking. ciao, xx

so close but so far away?
less than 15 days away from leaving this pmsing weather and English speaking country until i find myself in Africa, Turkey, Italy, France and England. Oh how excited, nervous, ecstatic and surreal feelings are flowing through my veins. In the mean time I have 5 exams, 1 folio due, the Flemmington races and a fluro party.

today
so today
i painting my nails a nudy pink colour (purchased from natio), which now seem to be my favourite new nail style and indulged in my last day of a late holiday night with nothing more than a roast for dinner and rocky road ice-cream to follow up and to finish off with my missed season 3 of Sex and the City.
Carrie looks absolutly luscious in this season, i think its because of her recent breakup/break down with Big and Aiden, although i was seriously frustrated with the situations and events Carrie had in season 3 but i was loving the end episode that my sister insisted on me seeing asap. As soon as i saw it i loved it. My sister founds an answer about SATC i couldn't even figure out. She said 'the thing i love about SATC is that they can get away with anything, there are no rules!' it was the exact sentence i could use to describe what i truely loved about the show and there life.

holidays are bliss
So i've been spending my last real holiday for the year by mainly sleeping.. but i did visit greatly loved holiday house down in Point Lonsdale with my mum and then a couple of sleepovers in the second week but also welcoming home my sister who just moved back from Sydney after 10 months of what i seemed to have heard to be a silent death.
During my semi relaxing holiday i have been looking forward to some fairly excited events that will take place the next few months:
- Melbourne cup
- finishing (and not failing) year 11
- GOING OVERSEAS, words can't express how excited i am for this, but seems to still not be realistic to me.
but to sum up the recent past i have
1. Seen the movie Easy A, which i thought was fun and unexpected
2. Have found a new and refreshing TV program called The Big C
3. Found my new love for an music artist called Mark Isham who's music can be recognized in movies like Freedom Writers and The Secret Life of Bee's (plus heaaaappps more) His talent amuses me
4. My new canvas Country Road bag, gift from my sister for Christmas which i am actually using now
5. My new diary... whatever happened to the traditional diary writing when it was normal to put pen to paper? purchased from one of my favorite shops- Borders
So to finish off this post, if your still reading (or if i'm just scribbling (in this case typing) to myself) then i have some stressed issues i think i should conclude with..
- i have a folio and final garment piece due in for fashion, uh oh
- some type of English thingy i need to find out about and start
- and finally a fugging psychology sac i am dreading to be over

welcome back internet
once again our internet bill is over the roof so dad insisted on turning it off for over a week, therefore i haven't been able to blog.
so, I'm sitting in my bedroom on a chilly/sunny Saturday at now 4:57pm listening to a range of new songs i recently downloaded like , I know this much is true by Tears for fears and Mama do by Pixie Lott and Fight for this love by Cheryl Cole. This weekend is going to be chill with no real plans except for sweet sleep and lots of dvd's.
Hopeful I'll be able to get some fashion folio done and clean my room.
but as I'm debating to procrastinate my wish list of clothing & accessories has increased...
i want.. a fur vest
knee high boots
a new dress
& some silver rings
Also in jewelery I've started my new piece. I'm creating crescent moon and star earrings just like the gorgeous one in Sex and the City 2 that Carrie wears.

Today while i watched Little Miss Sunshine for the millionth time in my life i couldn't help but the to notice the poetic, touching, emotional backing music. to my research this inspiring music artist consists of four band members. They are called DeVotchka which comes from Russia meaning girl.

update on life
as the dirty bus window fogged up and tears of rain fell i listened to emotion filled Bon Iver, i was touched by the thought of feeling absolutely free from anything i ever felt trapped about.
Recently i have been trying to routine myself into taking moments in a day to just breathe, cleanse my body, mind and spirit. Today, now, my life is amazing. I love it, obviously i have downfalls and breakouts of thinking 'i can't do this' when i secretly know i can, i often feel tired and exhausted but i think to myself this day will pass and tomorrows a new one. I love the people in my life, the experiences i have from day to day. i love the fact that I'm still discovering who i am, who i want to be and what i even like. I'm proud to say that I'm living life, i rebel against opinions, thoughts and myself. I laugh everyday. This is my triumph, this is my result.

winterwonderland
is it sad i love listening to American christmas songs in the middle of our July Winter?
I love the festive spirit that the Americans make christmas out to be; snow, santa, snowflakes, presents and tiny people also know as elves. I love all the classic Christmas songs and movies; Love actually, Miracle on 34th street, the Grinch etc.. of course Perry Como and Bill Crosby's famous christmas tunes aren't helping to the obsession.
On the topic of Christmas i will be sharing it in my beloved Italy, first times a charm then New Years under the French stars and Eiffel Tower

new header? new rosary?
yes, my old rosary broke unfortunatly and was wanting for months to replace it. So in the city there's a catholic store that has hundreds of rosaries to choose from. This is my first real rosary and according to the package its my 'first communion' rosary.

update: holidays, music and carrie bradshaw
Donvale's formal was last night. Was fun, stressful and surprisingly lovely to catch up with old school mate. I wore a cherry red one shoulder Sportsgirl dress with leopard printed (transparent) stockings and peep toe ankle Wittner shoes accessorized with a gold cuff and a curly loose hair.
that was the event that unfortunatly finished my mid-term holidays. Annoyingly i got a hole in the tights and 4 stains on my dress. * hopefully uploading photo's soon
But to update you with the rest of my holiday events. I had a total of 3 sleepovers, a few visits to the city and one fairly drunk night with friends- it insited on walking up and down toorak road asking every second person the time and me repeatingly telling randoms that they were pretty.
to update you on some recently loved songs that seem to be rerunning on my ipod are:
1. turn me on - Kevin Lyttle
2. I don't want freedom - Wham/George Michael's
3. to sir with love - lulu and Glee cast
4. Believe - Cher
5. Sexy boy - Air
6. Paper romance - Groove Armanda
I'm am also recently involved myself into the life of Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York, Miranda Hobbs and Samantha Jones. Starting my journey right from the beginning where the fashion was far from today's Haute Couture.
