last year (2009) was a very emotionally time for me, but through tears, tissue boxes, my mum, psychologist and school councilors helped me get through an emotional breakdown. i went from missing weeks and days off school trying to sleep through time. thinking to myself, i can be happy, just lying in bed, not getting out. last year i literally remember crying myself to sleep almost every night.

this year is my break through of what i'm becoming, for once in my life i can say i'm happy, and there are little few things to change.
this blog is an encouragement, i can write whatever i feel on it, whenever i like. my inspirations, thoughts, life events, fashion and music love. I'm proud of myself.

i'm not exactly sure why my love for this particular 'wonders of the world' is so strong, it could be because it tower over the city, almost like it's protecting everyone, it might be because the arms are wide open welcoming everyone.

he had several tattoos, one that was wrote very bold saying : I AM FREE
thinking about what this means, actually is inspiring. i think we all should write on our arms that we are free.

alice in wonderland

today i went to see alice in wonderland 3D

i thought the effects, costumes, actors and set was altogether amazing.
although i thought they could have added a bit more excitement and added some more origanal scenes.

who can i be. me

i mix and match my mind alot
one day i want to be different, aspiring to be a famous fashion designer who travels the world in highest class only meeting the finest designers and wearing the new seasoned clothing. next day i want to backpack my way through the alley's of Italy and restaurants of japan and love parade in Berlin and slowly relaxing on the beaches of Thailand.
i then want to work for all the greatest productions, tv, movies and wedding as a make-up and hair artists.
instead of being one stereotype that sticks to one style and opinion i want to be all of them at the same time.

big, over exaggerated make-up is really 'in' at the moment, i'm not a big cliche trend holder but i like to follow up on new/different/haute couture trends and fashion. Of course make-up like this is not 'appropriate' for street wear it is still fun to put it on some occasions

i hate cliche brand names that mean absolutely nothing..
so i shall explain how much my 'nothing' heading means.

sparkle..
i can't explain my love for things that glitter and shine in all ways. i'm not just talking about glitter dust, i'm also talking about creations, women/men, the world, photographs, make-up, clothes- things that i love and stand out. it's like ' oh, doesn't that just sparkle!'
never take me to a jewelery store because i'll pick out everything that sparkles and i'll say ' oh i love that, i want that, it says MEEE!' - ask my mum, although she is much the same ;)

my middle name for one, for two it's named after my loved late nonno who died march 2009. He had many names, one of which was Francesco. i feel privaliged and proud to have a part of him in my name.

so that explains just about it. oviously i love the way they fit together.

.. not always though, i remember when i first made this blog and i was debating to swap it around.. 'francesca&sparkle' because it sounded more pronoucable.. but sometimes things are alot more creative and special when it just doesnt sound/look perfect..
